Omaha poker strategy can be like a merry-go-round experience especially with high-low games. Normally, poker is a lot of self-centered, greedy kind of playing; however, in the high-low games the finishing of the pot splitting is done between the high hand and the low hand! This kind of finish in the Omaha reduces a bit of jealous steaming of co-players that feel defeated when one just runs away with the whole of the pot. When they see that their opponent is to share money with yet another low hand, they are a left with a bit of less steaming feeling because their opponent having to share his winning with someone else too. High-low Omaha minimizes that normal jealousy that dominates the table when one single player runs away with the pot. (more…)
